Annotations are timed text notes on recordings that can be used to mark down interesting or notable moments during a segment.

In the list of recordings or the editor, they appear under the audio’s waveform with the annotator’s profile picture.

To add or view annotations for a recording:

  1. Click on the recording you wish to edit

  2. Play or seek to the time of the audio where you want to annotate

  3. Write your annotation in the text box and press Enter. You can also click Flag to quickly add an important annotation without any text.

  4. Clicking on the timestamp of any annotation will automatically seek and play the recording from that time.

Annotations are private to your organisation and cannot be seen by the public.
