Yield-Op from Triton Digital is a supply side platform (SSP) for digital audio advertising designed specifically for audio publishers and ad networks. It is focused on digital audio, bringing together sellers (audio publishers) who want to fill their available inventory and buyers (advertisers) who want to spend on audio.

Yield-Op for publishers connects your audio inventory to media buyers, agencies, and ad networks, and helps you manage your remnant advertising inventory.

For more information please read the Yield-Op User Guide here.

To connect with Yield-Op, a publisher needs to set an ads.txt record.

To help prevent fraud or misuse of your inventory, you must put an ads.txt file containing an Authorized Advertising System record in the root domain of your content URL.

The Authorized Advertising System record contains Triton Digital's Advertising System Identifier (Triton's domain name), the Publisher Account ID (from the Triton Digital Streaming Console), the Account Type, and Triton Digital’s Certification Authority ID.

An example record: tritondigital.com, XXXX, DIRECT, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  1. If your content website root domain does not have an ads.txt file, create a plain text file. Insert the following code in the file on a single line. Save the file as ads.txt under the root domain of your content website.

  2. If you already use an ads.txt file, you don't have to create a new one. Instead, add the Triton Digital record to the existing file and save it.

  3. Repeat the process for any additional content using different root domains.

Or, if you are hosted on Omny Studio and have activated Yield-Op through the form provided by Omny Support, your ads.txt record has been automatically added to the Omny.fm/ads.txt record.

To reference this record and be setup for programmatic traffic from Yield-Op, please set your program's website field to your Omny.fm showpage, please note this needs to be the full URL (https://omny.fm/shows/breakfast-with-john) not just "https://omny.fm". You can find your showpage by clicking on the show page link shown above, and change your 'website field' on your RSS by following these steps.
